Photographic holdings chronicle the 45-year musical and social history of the Yale Symphony Orchestra. Scrapbook collections include programs and documents, as well as concert photographs from Woolsey Hall events, photographic journals of tours, runout concerts, premiere concerts, and performances with historical and musical significance. Photographic materials consist of black-and-white and color 35 mm negatives, approx. 300 to 400 color slides, black-and-white gelatin prints (older materials) and chromogenic prints.
